Shot 035 - Universal Remote Control

Today's upload is a universal controller for media such as movies, music and TV. A bit of a weird challenge as the scope is pretty locked-in, but tried to make the most of it in terms of my understanding and presentation.

The controller should behave in a way that is adaptable and context-sensitive, switching controls to the most appropriate function for a certain task. The hope is to create something that feels familiar enough to simplified inputs such as trackpads, without demanding too much cognition to operate them. The experience happens within the iOS Notification Center (which seems weird in retrospect), but could be useful nonetheless. In some ways I wish I designed it from scratch, but even still, it's difficult as there isn't really a counterpart/experience to design for. Nevermind!
