Branding Suite: Bulldog Diving
The Brief
Design a logo for a new product in the commercial diving industry. This logo should indicate the type of work performed (confined space) and its above-water capabilities. Compared to typical air hats used underwater, this hat is extremely lightweight outside of the water; highlight this feature. Come up with clever ways to brand the air hat that will stand out in the industrial sector. Use job photos to show its use and functionality on-site. Research and prepare information as to why this is a "revolutionary" product in the commercial design industry for upcoming trade shows and promotional events.

33.5" x 79" Retractable Vinyl Banner for Wastewater Trade Show
Since I was creating a whole suite, I didn't want to use the same pictures that people would see in the brochure. I wanted to create something simple, easy to read, and visually captivating. I did research on other companies that would be in attendance and general branding of the wastewater industry. The red and yellow curves cutting through the brochure mimic the umbilical that provides the diver a positive airflow and communications.
Being a confined space team, I chose to use dark colors to highlight the details. The work done with the MK3 Airhat is above-water, though often times in confined spaces such as pipes and tanks with toxic material that the diver has to enter. The client wanted to use colors that workers are familiar with, more specifically safety colors.

I was tasked to create a full page for Bulldog Diving to use in a print magazine for the trade show as well as their digital magazine that they publish. The stickers serve as advertisements on the boxes that held the Airhat MK3 models.
