Improved search results for Smart TV

It's been a while (as Stain'd once said).

Here you can see me trying to improve the search results for a Smart TV. We've all been there; TV on, remote in hand, jumping in and out of your subscription services wondering which one has [insert latest cool film] only to find out that non of them do, and so the painfully difficult process of choosing another film to rinse and repeat the user scenario with continues*...

I'd love to be able to search my Smart TV and simply be shown if the thing I'm searching for is available on any of my subscriptions or not (You know, like a good user experience? Shade on you, you know who you are)

There's no real reason why we can't have this kind of info other than studio licensing and or platform API's not being shared with each other. I don't really care about the business concerns here, as I think there's still plenty that these businesses can benefit from by sharing this kind of info with each other.

*Googling for answers is useless and never correct.
