Harmony in Istanbul: The Crosswinds Project Poster

Embarking on a musical odyssey during my semester at Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar University in Istanbul, I had the privilege of capturing the essence of the Crosswinds Project—an extraordinary collaboration that resonates across cultures and genres.

Centered around the rhythmic brilliance of percussionist Oktay Temiz🥁, the Crosswinds Project unites a diverse ensemble of talent. Francois Lindemann on piano🎹, Abdel Aziz El Achhab on the Keman🎻, Shems Bendali on trumpet🎺, and Patrick Perrier on double bass🎻🎶 collectively craft an unparalleled sonic experience.

In the heart of Istanbul, where East meets West, the poster design becomes a visual overture. The bold monochrome palette of black, white, and red sets the stage for each musician, each instrument, and the symphony they collectively create. The simplicity of the poster design is intentional, a canvas deliberately left uncluttered to allow the names and instruments of these artists to take center stage, inviting the audience to engage with the individuality each brings to the Crosswinds Project.

This poster is not just a promotional piece; it's a glimpse into the cultural tapestry woven by these incredible artists. Join me in celebrating the fusion of sounds, the convergence of talents, and the magic of the Crosswinds Project. 🎶🇹🇷 #CrosswindsProject #MusicalHarmony #IstanbulSounds
