Raw State takes horse gear back to its roots — it’s about quality, durable materials, and the bare essentials to get the job done. There are no gimmicks or cutting corners … just training methods that prioritise the wellbeing of your horse and creating a genuine partnership.

THE PROBLEM:

An industry deeply rooted in tradition, particularly one traditionally associated with a male-oriented landscape, is a unique challenge. Picture the iconic Texan imagery of horse-riding, gun-toting individuals – a vivid scene we often associate with this field.

Now, imagine a refreshing twist. Enter "raw state" – a brand that stands out in this typically male-dominated arena, promising products meticulously crafted in Australia from premium quality leather. This isn't your typical brand; it's the choice of a new generation of horse breeders and trainers who dare to do things differently.

What makes raw state truly remarkable is that it's not steered by the stereotypical tale of American tradition. Instead, it's a brand characterised by kindness, gentleness, and honesty. In essence, raw state is breaking free from the expected norms, offering a fresh perspective for those seeking something beyond the confines of the "western" box.

THE SOLUTION:

Our ingenious solution involved crafting a welcoming colour palette inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of Western Australia's outback. Picture rich reds reminiscent of its earthy tones, serene pale blues mirroring the expansive sky, and a warm yellow capturing the essence of the intense sun.

The typography chosen adds a delightful feminine touch, seamlessly complementing the warmth and vibrancy of the chosen hues. To further break away from the conventional, we introduced custom brand patterns featuring captivating images of Australia. This unique blend of elements not only captures the essence of the brand but also takes a delightful departure from the standard U.S. stereotype.
