ASU Pocket: Digital Wallet for Verifiable Credentials
The project involved an analysis of metadata for verifiable credentials, focusing on understanding the data models essential for the ASU Pocket app. This groundwork was critical before moving on to the design phase. During the initial design ideation phase, high-fidelity mockups were created for a variety of datasets and use cases, including training courses, certifications, institutions, learner engagement, and badges.
We also addressed JSON data handling, profile management, asynchronous credentials, error messages, Single Sign-On (SSO), and data sharing.
A unique brand theme was developed for ASU Pocket, aligning with ASU's colors but maintaining distinctiveness.
This project included wireframing screens and creating a prototype for 18 different use cases, which involved updating various Jira tickets and collaborating closely with the development team to ensure effective implementation. A notable achievement was the integration of a sharing feature into the app and the creation of a demonstration for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
