Bellingham Flag

This is a flag I designed for the Downtown Bellingham Partnership for the City of Bellingham. It won the flag design contest. The 4 stripes symbolize the 4 original settlements that make up the city of Bellingham, all of which border Bellingham Bay represented by the blue half circle. The 2 stars are for the 2 Native Salish Tribes, the Nooksack and the Lummi. The 3 lines are for Whatcom, which translates to "noisey waters", the namesake of our county and our largest water fall.
