Website Design for www.ggconference.com
I joined a dynamic design team to develop the website for www.ggconference.com. Working alongside the lead designer and project manager, our objective was to create a visually appealing and user-friendly website for a leading game development conference.
Phase 1: Research
The project commenced with an in-depth research phase. I immersed myself in the world of game development conference websites, analyzing a variety of successful sites in this niche. This exploration laid a strong foundation for our design approach, helping us understand what works and appeals to our target audience.
Phase 2: Wireframes Development
In the subsequent phase, I concentrated on developing wireframes for 10 key pages of the website. Each page was designed to be responsive, accommodating four screen sizes: large desktop, small desktop, tablet, and mobile. This ensured a smooth user experience across all devices.
Phase 3: Design Implementation
After the wireframes were approved by the client, our lead designer established the primary design style. I then progressed to the detailed design of each page, creating necessary components for the design and a library of text styles. The outcome was a coherent and adaptable design, tailored to each of the four screen sizes.
