Daily UI 013: Direct Messaging

When I was brainstorming this design, I starting thinking about an integrated college communication app to safely connect students to each other and their teachers.

I would like students to be able to chat in a group class setting with their peers as the primary function. They would also be able to start 1:1 conversations with both the professor and students in class. I want it to be an easy way to ask questions of their peers, talk about homework, and more. I thought it would be cool to have additional features too, like syllabus alerts for quizzes, teacher announcements, reminders, updates, and more. Could be something to explore later!

Work is a bit rough, but I think the ideas are a decent start.
