This is the first shot from a project, which I made with Foundry 360 for GEICO. My part of the job was creating several cutaway illustrations of a typical American house, preparing them for parallax scrolling and bringing a tad of life into the house by animating some details. The thing which I love about my work is that I learn something new in each project and this one was really full of new knowledge. At the beginning of the work I received a list of elements which must be shown in the house. Some of them were for warm weather, but some of them for cold one. So I came up with something like a weather gradient with summer on the left and winter on the right. The sketching process was quite long because I had to design the house from scratch taking into account American building technologies, and here I would like to thank the team from GEICO and especially Chris Mueller from Foundry 360.
