Scientific American - The Rise and Fall of Vitamin D

I was commissioned by Scientific American to create two illustrations about the rise and fall of Vitamin D.

The article talks about how Vitamin D was once presented as a cure-all, with low Vitamin D levels linked to a range of conditions including cancer and depression. However, recent research has failed to back up the claims that increasing intake of the supplement can prevent or treat illnesses.
