Selfie Selfies

Let's talk about weird ideas. I think that sometimes there's a certain level of hesitancy to pitch those really weird ideas in the backs of our minds. We want to be professional and clean and whatever. Well let's all stop doing that.

Recently I've been working with a company that helps people buy and sell used mobile devices, and we needed some way to imbue the site with personality and color. Instead of cold devices everywhere I pitched the weirdest idea possible, a land of cartoon devices, and they loved it.

So now instead of black-screened Samsung Galaxies we have phones taking selfies with other tinier phones. Because phones. And selfies. So really—no idea is too weird.
