Redesigning La Petite Alice!

I wanted to take up a challenge and came across this beautiful handmade clothing brand - La Petite Alice

I was going through their website and loved their story and their content but I didn't think it was visible to the user. Hence, I tried to give it my own touch for their homepage!

Their website header was too crowded and didn't look appealing. It also did not have much iconography and hence everything was written in text. Throughout the website there was too much text and was a lot to scroll for the homepage. They had incredible pictures and hence I decided to make complete use of them. I even wanted to show major focus on the fact that everything is handmade. Hence, I made a wallpaper out of their embroidery pictures which showcased their introduction video. I wanted to give the website a much more homely look. I hope I've accomplished these goals.

There is a lot more to add about the brand and better UX but this was my first draft for the redesign.

Scroll down for the website video and the color palette!

I made use of the beautiful pastel colors of the fabric used by La Petite Alice and made it my color palette for the website. These colors showcase a very homely and petite look to show exactly what the brand portrays.
