SHADES CASE STUDY

Project Overview

Before officially enrolling in the Dribbble Product Design Course and ShiftNudge.com course by Matt D. Smith, I undertook a self-initiated case study. My journey began with a UI/UX design project on Udemy.com, guided by the expertise of professional Daniel Scott from bringyourownlaptop.com.

As I progressed, I decided to enhance and refine my initial design by incorporating the new skills acquired during my Dribbble Product Design Course. This project served as a practical application of the knowledge gained from both courses, showcasing the evolution of my skills and design approach.

Conclusion

As I wrapped up this case study, I was glad to put into practice the new skills I learned from both courses. I focused on things like, wire framing, user flow, user persona, components, high-fidelity and finishing with the prototype.

On the design aspect I focused on typography, layout, colors, and even added features like slide menu bars and profile menu bars with animations. I also enjoyed a lot designing the logo from scratch.

The whole process left me feeling really happy with how far I've come, and now I'm excited to start my next case study for my portfolio, where I'll dive more into UX research and feedback.
