Guest experience and contextual nudges to motivate signups

This project I discusses the problem of poor signup rates for new users in the US demographic for the competitive gaming app. Through user research, the team discovered that US users are hesitant to share personal information and prefer to play games without signing up. To address this, MPL implemented a guest login feature with limited gameplay options and added incentives for users to sign up. The launch was done through an A/B test, with 5% adoption of the guest login feature and lower login success for users who used it. Users were more interested in exploring app sections like profile, referrals, and wallets in the guest experience and not playing free games.
