The Moroccan independence claim document or statement of January 11, 1944 is a day that constitutes one of the main stations in the history of the national struggle waged by the throne and the Moroccan people for freedom and liberation from colonialism, against the Berber dynasty on August 28, 1930. Due to its great symbolic significance, January 11 is officially considered a holiday in Morocco.
