Kindle Ad Campaign

For my photoshop class, we were asked to create an ad campaign featuring a product placed within paintings by an artist of our choosing. Inspired by my own love for reading, I chose to create a campaign for the Amazon Kindle. I wanted to create something humorous and ironic. In the painting by Auguste Toulmouche, the women are depicted as bored and uninterested. Most of us can imagine why a women of this time period might appear unexcited, but I wanted to switch the perspective. In this campaign, these women are happy to stay home, if it means they get to be left alone to do what they love - reading on the Amazon Kindle.
