Remake Scene - Mo Dao Zu Shi #1

Enframed scenery (框景) is a method of creating traditional Chinese landscape gardens. Based on the principle of painting composition, the essence of the outdoor scenery is captured by simple dark window frames, door frames or sometimes artificial objects. When viewed from indoor, it becomes almost like a painting on the wall.

I accidentally found the artwork of Wu Bin (吳彬), a Chinese landscape painter in Ming dynasty (more than 400 years ago). The exquisite details, the gradually changes of the rocks surface in his artwork ‘Ten portraits of a marvellous rock' (十面靈璧圖) amazed me a lot.
