Rebranding for FabricAir

Hi, folks!

Happy to share one of my most favourite branding cases for a company with a rich history of 50 years of being on market.

FabricAir is a company designing and producing fabric-based air dispersion and air distribution solutions for a wide range of applications. Furthermore they are the first company to produce fabric based air dispersion and distribution solution in 1973. FabricAir is the story of how a small company, based in Denmark, grows to become a world leading innovator within HVAC/R, with customers across the globe and sales offices or distributors in all major regions. Company continues to innovate HVAC industry on a worldwide level working on North American, Asian and Europe markets.

The company, with a rich history and extensive 50 years of experience, decided it was the opportune moment to rejuvenate its brand appearance. The client came forward with a newly designed logo and nothing more. Unfortunately, the agency they had previously collaborated with couldn't deliver a branding guidelines concept that resonated with the company and satisfied the client. The objective was clear - to propose a branding concept that would contemporarily and uniquely represent the company, along with designing comprehensive branding guidelines and a fresh visual identity.

The selected concept revolves around the company's distinctive working material that sets them apart from typical air distribution manufacturers: fabric. The new brand appearance incorporates bold colours and minimalistic elements inspired by fabric stitches. Despite a previous unsatisfactory experience with another branding agency, the client immediately embraced and approved this idea during the initial presentation.

The new look for FabricAir has successfully achieved all the established goals. The updated brand guidelines are modern, unique, and personalised, making the brand memorable and effectively narrating its story. The fresh face of FabricAir is reinforcing the global presence of their unique brand.
