Shot 031 - About Card

Tried to create an "About Card" but ended up looking more like a previous quote card looking at it in retrospect. I suppose that's because an about card seems to be very much about the person and their character, and that comes off the best in a simplified format like this.

Anyway, I was pretty inspired by straightforward editorial styles such as The Great Discontent, so I went in one direction with this here and I really like how it turned out, especially the colour scheme. I always get suckered into using black & white photography that's quite candid, but it feels refreshing to go back to simple tones and, for once, it feels like I picked a decent typeface!

I love throwing in some signatures too... just adds a nice human touch.
