INFINITY BASS - Audio plugin 💫
I've had three passions in life since I was a little girl: dinosaurs, space and planets. You can't create a plugin based solely on one passion, but when Jean-Baptiste, who's a DSP at Slate Digital, and I, had to think together about how to represent the notion of bass, I immediately visualized a planet with a universe gravitating around it, like a nebula and a molten planet.
The first planet I thought of and visualized in my head was deep, which was basically a moon and which would be hidden by an eclipse depending on the value of the upstream.
The eclipse concept was kept and applied to all planets.
The idea is that we are in a planetary system and gravitate from planet to planet, representing the different modes.Â
Each planet has its own particularity, ecosystem and attributes, depending on the mode applied.Â
The C++ team also made a huge contribution, following my delirium and prototyping things to bring even more experience.
It was a lot of teamwork and fun! Â

This is a bass exciter mode perfect for treating electric, acoustic and synth bass lines as well as kick drums that could use more transient presence.Â
Phased
This is a bass-focused all-pass filter that helps boost any weaker bass and low-end transients in your mix. The result is subtle but essential for mixing.
