About the company

"Voyage Magnifique" specializes in personalized and exclusive tours of France. It offers a variety of packages including cultural tours, gastronomic adventures, castle visits and exclusive stays in traditional locations.

Challenge

Create a website that promotes the idea of interesting and comfortable trips in France, highlights unique offers, increases the conversion of tour sales and attract users to the mailing of new tours. Make a website in minimalistic style.

Solution

Create a website in minimalistic style that immerse users deep into the french atmosphere, provides detailed info about tours and shows all the possibilities of chosen trips.

The layout grid is 1440 px designed for 12 columns with 20 px gutter and 100 px margin.

Work process took place in 4 stages: research, design (includes UX/UI design and responsive and adaptive designs), prototyping and final stage.

I created a prototype, which shows convenient website navigation and will be made in minimalistic style.

Then I started seeking for the most suitable fonts and colours to the theme of the project.

l imagined that the heading typeface has to be with notches to make an accent on the header and the main text has to be without notes to make a text readable.

A colour palette was inspired by a magnificent French architecture and breathtaking lavender fields.

A tablet version is made on 744 px layout grid and a mobile version on 375 px layout grid.

A dark mode for a website is made for a convenient use at night. The dark/light mode switches by a button on a header.
