In 2011, Palestinian children in Gaza broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the most kites flown.. 12,350 kites were flown by the children of the Gaza Strip - who were and still are, under siege, at Al-Waha beach.. Since Oct. 7, more than 10K+ Palestinian kid has lost their lives, 24K+ have lost one or both parents, 18K+ have been injured, 10 kids a day have body parts amputated, 1000 of those have had limbs amputated without anesthesia and 90% of kids under the age of 2 are under severe food poverty. I pray for a free, unoccupied Palestine where kids - and adults equally, can live like human beings.
