BTS | Ebook

Enter your text here...The goal of this project was to create both an attractive and functional design for an ebook about the role of AI in contemporary learning and development practices. It was important for the design to be clean, simple, and accessible, but since it's a fairly technical topic it seemed like a good idea to introduce a bit of playfulness in the design.

That is why I used rich illustrations throughout the ebook that helped illustrate the content. I used stock illustrations, but I adapted them to the content and made sure to use the BTS brand colors. Since I didn't want the coloring to be too harsh, I used subtle gradients for most of the illustrations. The intention was for most of the contrast on a page to come from the tension between illustration and text, not color itself.

I further emphasized the clean and modern look by using a sans serif font, adding and emphasizing the contrast by using weights of the same font far removed from one another.

Overall, the ebook represents a comprehensive study of contemporary, minimal, and corporate publication design, one I am quite proud of at that.
