I think I'm getting the hang of making icons :)

I just finished a course on UI/UX designing and as a part of the course we had an assignment to take a website of our choice and redesign its homepage. I came across a clothing brand started by a family. What differentiates them from other clothing brand is that their fabrics and clothing are completely handmade by using organic fabrics. They do not use any synthetic material and are promoting towards saving the planet.

Keeping these goals in mind, I made these 3 icons using vectors on Sketch which will appear on their homepage instantly showing people the story behind their brand.

For this first icon, I wanted to show that the brand makes everything on their own without the use of any type of machines. Hence, I wanted to depict a wholesome and loved feeling through the icon. I made two hands surrounding the heart for the same.

For the second icon, as the name says organic which means solely natural, I made a small leaf twig. The brand also mentioned that they care for the planet hence this icon showcased that as well. I kept this icon simple but it definitely tells a lot!

For the third icon, I wanted show a working lady. The brand empowers women and have a lot of talented female professionals working for them. Hence, I made a woman and gave her a collar to show that she's a working lady. This was by far the hardest icon I had to make. It took me almost an hour and a half to perfect it! But in the end I'm happy with how it turned out.
