PMO - A project performance web app

The Wishtree design team took up the task of designing a project management tool, which was born from a need to track project performance, profitability and so on. After a lot of internal user discussions and brainstorming, the team came up with a design solution revolving around a lot of real-world scenarios.

The main intended user...the Project Management Office.

We started wireframing after doing the due diligence on internal user requirements.

Wishtree also underwent a recent rebranding exercise, and the design team wanted to use some of the colours in this tool. This set the guidelines for the basic UI of the application.

Wishtree has a set of internal systems regarding resource allocations and coordination, team management, project management based on both Waterfall as well as Agile Methodologies. The dashboard needed to be a good workable solution towards all or maximum functional requirements, in order to ensure value to the company.

The project listing screen needed to give a comprehensive summary of the project statuses in one go. Modern technologies allow for larger data calling from the database to get displayed in real-time. This allows for comprehensive summary reports to be prepared as well.
