The Amputation

A 17-year-old girl was forced into marriage with a 72-year-old man in small village of Ivory Cost. The night of the wedding, she resisted to his expectations, he then cut off both hands at the level of her wrists, dragged her into the undergrowth weeds and left her for dead. She survived saved by a group of young men. The old man and his accomplices were arrested and charged. This graphic art is a testimony of the price she paid for her freedom
