Book Cover Design: Alice in Wonderland

This was my big personal project of 2023: making my own illustration for a classic book cover and go wild with it! I knew that Alice in Wonderland was a good fit because I enjoy surreal elements and the appearance of Alice and her world is pretty open to interpretation. I was first thinking of going a steampunk route, but when I thought of how I wanted Alice to look, 1920s elements seemed like the way to go. It's pretty subtle, but I will be doing a type treatment as well, which will have a more obvious art deco style.
