Oasis - Digital Painting

🌴 I’ve always been curious to learn about cultures and history and during a trip to Istanbul a few years ago I picked up a beautiful photography book with pictures from early 1900s in the region called Maghreb. A true treasure, filled with black and white glimpses of what life was back there and then. This illustration is based on one of the photos that caught my curiosity. What might that child sitting in the window be thinking and dreaming of?
