Revisiting the OpTic Gaming Website

In 2017 I designed what I thought would be an awesome OpTic Gaming website. My vision prioritised content, and the personalities within the team. My goal was to break the mould of "generic sporty wordpress theme" that was found on most esports sites of the time.

My designs caught the attention of H3CZ, CEO of OpTic and were ultimately implemented - one of the coolest side projects I've worked on to date.

Several years later, and I'm glad to see much more creativity in esports sites. I especially love the FNATIC site and love that they also have taking a liking to the developer tools I like such as Sanity.

This past weekend I took the time to revisit the OpTic project that I think so fondly of an give the same ideas a fresh coat of paint. This isn't so much a redesign as it is bringing the design into 2024.
