Tribal Platform

Quick Summary: At Tribal Credit, my role evolved a lot over time as we scaled from Seed to Series B. I started out as the teams first design hire and initially built out our core product experiences for web and mobile. Then, upon raising our series A and B rounds, the time came to focus on scaling the design team and all the processes that go in hand.

Challenge: My team and I were constantly finding ways to evolve our design standards to support a cohesive, end to end design language system (DLS) across our multiple digital platforms and touch-points.

Solution: To address these challenges, I first established clear guidelines and processes that fundamentally aligned our ever growing design system and cultivated a culture of team work and iterative problem solving. This framework was crucial as it allowed multiple designers to work concurrently on different aspects of our key corporate projects in order to ensure cohesion of brand across the full final product.

Conclusion: The Tribal Platform not only showcased my skills in designing for diverse interfaces but also highlighted my ability to effectively manage and scale a design team. By aligning the team's work with our design system, we ensured that the platform remained consistent and true to our brand, while efficiently adapting to the needs of both mobile and web users.
