In God's Underground: Richard Wurmbrand — Redesign

Cover redesign for Voice of the Martyrs — In God's Underground by Richard Wurmbrand. I have enjoyed the challenge of redesigning the aesthetic feel and design of the Wurmbrand collection.

The challenge was to represent the local church in contrast with the church in captivity, prison or persecution. On the left side there is a church door and below are the elements of the Lord's supper. On the right side is a cell door and below it a crown of thorns and Ichthys symbol to represent the underground church.
