Baroque element modeling
Hello!
I want to share some of my works that I have been working on lately. One of these tasks was the creation of 3D models of decorative elements with a pure topology consisting only of quads.
In fact, there are several ways to create such models, but I’m just learning, so I choose the one that involves direct work with the grid and its optimization.
Using the features of Blender SubD, you can recreate the model’s relief using only a flat image with a reference. In addition, I had to constantly think about what this flat model looks like in space, i.e. use stereoscopic vision.
At the beginning, some challenges seem difficult, but after some time of repetition and mistakes you will achieve the desired result.
