Online Card Game UI Studies and Wireframe Recreations.
Here, I studied UI layouts of popular games like Fifa and Hearthstone. Here, I gained a lot of experience with layering, and balancing small details in Low-Fidelity Wireframes.
It was interesting to take an even closer look and really study the combination of 3D and 2D UIs and the different effects of them, and how it feels to design them.
I thoroughly enjoyed the process! Especially that of Hearthstone, of which my wireframes required the most detail and studying:
I believe the simplicity of Hearthstone's home screen really contributes to an increased player base, as people are not overwhelmed by complexity straight off of the bat, and can process the screen (and where they want to go from it) much more easily.
I had a lot of fun. I will most likely try to re-design these at some point soon, to try more high-fidelity wireframes and how differing aesthetics can produce different effects.
As always, if you have any suggestions, requests or corrections you think I should do or would like me to do for you, please do get in contact! Thank you so much.
