Description

This platform serves as a complement to the Load Empire app, enabling dispatchers and brokers to view offers submitted by drivers through their app and make informed decisions when awarding loads.

Why did I start this project?

I embarked on this project after gathering insights from dispatchers at an unnamed company. The primary objective is to create a comprehensive platform for dispatchers, enhancing the safety and efficiency of their work.

Problems

• Drivers submit their offers at various times, and there's a possibility that the client may overlook better options.

• Typically, other platforms do not provide information on transit time and ETA.

• Engaging in communication with drivers to discuss their offers can be challenging.

• Tracking freight locations proves challenging through third-party apps.

Solutions

• Providing a specific time frame for each load and displaying the list of offers afterward.

• Including Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and Transit Time (TT) details in the offer list.

• Implementing a chat platform within the system for communication with drivers.

• The platform will feature live tracking capabilities, accessible for sharing with other parties.

Response of Qualitative & Quantitative Research

User research is focused on understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations through observation techniques, task analysis, and various feedback methodologies. In this study, I utilized two distinct research methods: Qualitative and Quantitative analysis. For qualitative analysis, I conducted interviews with five individuals involved in dispatching to gain insights into the challenges they encounter during the process. Additionally, for quantitative analysis, a survey was administered to a sample of 20 participants
