Goal: Bridging Connections, One Community at a Time

Quick Summary: As the Co-Founder of Whoin, I led the app's design in Figma and development in React Native, creating an intuitive platform that encourages exploration and connection within global communities.

Solution: Leveraging my skills in both design and development, I used Figma for the UI/UX design phase, creating a visually coherent and intuitive user interface. This design process was highly iterative, focusing on user feedback to refine the app's usability. For development, I chose React Native, which allowed for a seamless implementation of the designs into a functional app. This combination of Figma for design and React Native for development was instrumental in creating an app that was both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, encouraging users to actively engage with their communities.

Conclusion: The successful launch of Whoin, attracting around 150 initial users, was a testament to the effectiveness of the design and development approach I adopted. This project not only demonstrated my capability to handle both design in Figma and development in React Native but also highlighted the potential of well-crafted tech solutions in fostering real-world community connections and experiences.
