Ethical Music Player: Case Study

Encore: A music player app with an ethical twist. The user connects their music libraries during sign-up, and then they select interests and causes with a social justice slant.

There are many issues in the music streaming industry, and this concept goes some way to responding to this by allowing users to donate directly to artists they enjoy. Causes that the artists support are placed front and centre of the user experience, and there are special rewards for users who show their support.

I wanted to balance a bold approach with the familiarity of common design patterns found in the likes of Spotify and dating apps.
