Google Search - Principle Experiment

I find the best way for me to learn a new program is to redesign something that's already beautifully crafted. It allows me to divorce myself from the creative process and focus on the technical details. I decided to learn Sketch and Principle by recreating the Google Search app. The UI was designed in Sketch and it really showed me the care and attention to details they put into the app. I tried to remain faithful to every pixel. Next I prototyped a portion of the app in Principle as a way to learn how it handles interactions. Its a really awesome tool and gave me a good understanding of its capabilities. Enjoy!
