Bullets N' Beans - Logo

The logo from the identity I am creating for an ammo and firearm supply company called - Bullets N' Beans. The client really liked "sports team style" logos and wanted something that would be aesthetically eye-catching, illustrative, patriotic, and masculine.

After some research and planning, I decided to focus on creating an illustrative logo featuring a skull and double AR-15's (a coveted rifle among gun enthusiasts). I decided it would be important to focus on a number of different criteria for creating an appropriate logo for the brand:

I wanted to create a logo that would be easily placed and utilized on multiple products (stickers, packaging, different colored backgrounds, web and print, clothing merchandise, etc..) The elements of the logo needed to be easily recognizable and stand on their own as a graphic illustration. The logo needed to be legible, evoke a competitive team aspect to their brand, and remain distinct among other competing companies. This is my manifestation from those criteria.
