#literopad 2023

Every November, the Ukrainian design community hosts a challenge called #literopad (letterfall). Its goal is to popularize the works of Ukrainian masters of type design of the past years. Every day, designers, illustrators, and other participants of the flash mob make a vector image of one of the letters of the Ukrainian alphabet. The basis is historical samples of painted letters from the covers of books, magazines, etc. In this way, the participants manage to cover the entire Ukrainian alphabet in a month.
