Day 18: Antlers

This is Day Eighteen of Thirty Days of Logos, in which I share a new logo idea for my design studio, Wildfire Studios, every day for 30 days.

This is not one of my finest ideas, I don't think. I wanted to explore something that seemed wild, that I could colour similarly to fire. I don't think these antlers turned out very well; I'd probably explore them in some simpler form, and I might actually include the face of a deer if I were to do this as a logo.

I might revisit this concept and try again, but I think this logo is going to end up being too large. I really want to keep my mark small and easy to understand at a glance.

The colour also needs work.

But again, all this is a proof of concept, and as a proof of concept, I'm honestly not sure how I feel about it. Would love your thoughts on a direction like this. Is it too obtuse?
