Room 3: Maple

This is three of three in a series of designs I’ve created for Burien Wellness, a chiropractic office near Seattle Washington. There is one wall in each exam room that is plain old painted cinderblocks. The folks at Burien Wellness found that material and surface to be a bit imposing and worked against the warm and inviting energy that the office would like to create. To camouflage the cinderblocks, I chose to create complex but orderly scenes, celebrating some of our favorite Washington native flora. This ones called Maple, but you will also see salmon berries, sneezeweed inspired flowers and maple seeds (aka helicopters).
