Women Overtime a visual essay
This visual essay follows the timeline of womens history. While this essay follows all of womens history my main subject is a close friend of mine, Ashleigh Madar, who at the time this essay was written is a 20 year old college student at Florida Atlantic University studying political science. Capturing not only the history of women, but also Ashleigh’s opinions and thoughts on the events through out history. This essay not only covers the changing of women's clothing, hair, and makeup, but also their lives in the work force, house hold roles, and rights.
I created the drawing on Procreate and edited the text and layout in Indesign.
