Figma multi-color gradient

The other day I was trying to create an interesting background for a landing page background and I wanted to create a multi-color background to blend together different shades of color. Currently the only way you can do this in Figma is by creating multiple shapes, add a layer blur to them and they play around with them until you find a combination that works.

So I thought: what if there was a gradient option that allowed you to do this without having to go through the hoops described above?

The concept revolves around the idea of introducing a new 'Multicolor' style in the fill options, where users can start with 3 default colors, change their tone and transparency as well as their arrangement within a shape or frame.

WDYT, would you use this or is it overkill?
