This piece represents my experience of the Parkland shooting during my sophomore year at MSD. I decided to portray this topic in a typographic journey series, which is divided by place. My chosen hierarchy system was based on placing the viewer in the scenario first. In other words, I wanted to introduce the setting, location, and date with a "story-telling" feeling. Since it is a sensitive theme, I believe omitting color was appropriate.

This series was showcased in the Juried Student Exhibition: Transcendent Tomorrow Spring 2023 at Florida Atlantic University's MetroLab Gallery.
