Design Taught Me That Confidence Is Key

I have always struggled with my confidence as a designer. I looked at all these amazing designers and their work, and I couldn't help but think “I wish I could be that amazing!” What I failed to realize is that in order to make work I feel confident with, I must first find confidence with myself. When you’re confident with yourself, you’re not afraid to break the rules or try different things. More importantly, you’re not afraid to fail. Because every failure is a lesson, and every lesson makes you a better designer than you were before.
