Blender: Michelangelo's David Study

I downloaded and printed a 3D model of a 'Planes of the Head' bust to aid my pencil illustrations from Sketchfab:

After using it in my concept art illustrations I was inspired to do a sculpture, so I chose to start a new Blender sculpt. It was coming well so I thought that to maximise my learning experience I would copy one of the best - Michelangelo's David.

My Asus ProArt Studiobook laptop has a touch screen and digital pens can be used on it. After testing it out in Blender's sculpt mode I can say it works very well.

I worked without symmetry turned on for most of the sculpt, to see if my eye has improved at picking out inaccuracies in symmetry. Previously, in my illustrations and sculptures, I used to misjudge symmetry badly, but this sculpture has shown significant improvement.

I made the wires at the bottom with bezier curves, it's the first time I've used them in Blender and it's quite straightforward after viewing a short demonstration video of how they work.

Materials for the wall, desk, and board are from Poliigon.

The wire material is from Sanctus Library.
