La Guadalupana

Dec 12th is considered the Virgin Mary's birthday and I wanted to take this special date in Mexico to celebrate the proud history of La Raza and its unique way to engulf and transform any device of subjection that you can throw at it.

Even though the connection of this symbol to an profuse period of death and suffering in undeniable, the importance of a mother's figure to the Mexican people during and after this turmoil is beyond question.

La Guadalupana

En México, el 12 de diciembre se considera el cumpleaños de la Virgen de Guadalupe por lo que quise aprovechar esta fecha especial para celebrar la orgullosa historia de La Raza y su forma única de absorber y transformar cualquier dispositivo de sometimiento que se le presente.

Aunque la conexión de este símbolo a un período profuso de muerte y sufrimiento es innegable, la importancia de la figura materna para el pueblo mexicano durante y después de este tumulto está fuera de cuestión.
