Hey Dribbblers! 👋 Excited to showcase my latest project, the Hometwin – a game-changer in smart home management! 📱💼

Many factors shape our behaviors in ways that contradict our values, and we are often unaware of these influences; our household energy consumption habits reflect this as well. Therefore, to achieve the desired environmentally friendly behavior change at home, we need to align our decisions with our values using behavioral levers. Hometwin app aims to address this problem.

Problem scope:

Because 96% of the decisions we make throughout the day require little cognitive effort, they are quickly and automatically made by System 1. This is why there is an inconsistency between people's values and actions, including our household energy consumption behaviors.

My solution:

A smart home app localize and personalize the proplem by reframeing people's perspectives on household energy consumption through behavioral leverages, nudging them slowly towards energy-efficient behaviors around a reward system.
