Illustrated Capital Letter

This capital letter isn't exactly a mix of illustrated concept and typographic one. First of all, I've made the Capital M with serif to put equilibrium between the volume of the three flowers in the top and the letter, that you can see its forms, how they draw the M. Also, I wanted to create a contrast between the flowers. While I've done two of them with volume and shadows, I've drawn the other one playing with black and white and different forms to give that creative and distinctive touch. 

The process of this Illustrated Capital Letter is longer than the other letters ones. I've started drawing the Capital M, and I've helped myself using a compass to draw the flowers, to which I've given their respective forms with volumes, shapes and shadows. Two of them are drawn with the technique of the volume and the shadows, while the other one is made with the technique of the color and the shapes, and like that until I've arrived to the M, which I've coloured in black. 

It's done with callibrated black markers.
